14th Reinstated is a Must-Read Novel

14thReinstatedCoverAs much as I don’t like to think about the possibility of this great country collapsing, recent political events are starting to make me think it is a real possibility. So when Bryce M. Towsley offered to give us a copy of his latest book, 14th Reinstated, I decided to take him up on the offer.

My husband met Towsley several years ago while we were both working at a small publishing company in Wisconsin. Towsley was writing a gun book for the division Derrek managed. It didn’t take long for us to realize what a wealth of knowledge Towsley had. I hate to say he knows everything, but is one of the people I consider to be close. His knowledge of guns, hunting, and defense are impressive, and we know a lot of people in those industries.

I started reading the 14th Reinstated on the plane on the way home from SHOT Show. By the time I got home I knew I was scared to continue reading but needed to do it. From the first few pages I realized how much we aren’t prepared for the path this country could be traveling.

While the storyline is interesting and fast-paced, the novel is packed with solid survival tactics and advice, from the right weapons and ammo for home defense to the supplies we really need to be stockpiling to survive a complete economic collapse.

While this is Towsley’s first work of fiction, you may quickly forget it is a work of fiction. Towsley writes with creative mastery. He details how the political decisions being made currently could severely impact the comfortable life we are all enjoying.

The characters in the novel are deep characters who draw from their experiences and strength to survive in a time when there is no government, currency, or stability. They are in a continual battle for their survival, encountering a myriad of dangers and obstacles.

What more can I say? Read the book. It is both entertaining and informative. It is the best survival book on the market and a great read.
