Bowhunting Whitetails the Eberhart Way

A few years back while I was working with Krause Publications, I had the opportunity to work with Chris Eberhart on a traveling bowhunter book that made me take notice of a new way to hunt, and most importantly, made me want to get out hunting every time I read part of it.

There are two things you need to know.

1. The Eberharts flat out KNOW how to hunt whitetails.

2. They know how to WRITE about hunting whitetails that makes you really enjoy reading their stuff.

This book has details on hunting all of the trickiest things that come up while hunting. I’m talking about things like hot weather, bad weather, the October lull and more.

John  and Chris are some of the most successful hunters I know and they hunt in the same places you and I do. Yeah, that’s right. These guys aren’t out there hunting private game farms and high-priced lodges. They hunt public land and select private land they get permission to hunt the old fashion way, they ask permission.

In fact, they are from, and do much of their hunting in Michigan, my home state. I don’t know about you, but anyone that can regularly bring home a big buck in Michigan is a great hunter.

I am very happy to have gotten the chance to work with Chris Eberhart and to have read this book It and other from the Eberharts are part of my required reading for hunting whitetails!

Do yourself a favor and get a copy of the Eberhart’s book and while you’re at it, get the rest of their books and DVDs. You’ll be a better hunter if you do!

The book is now available in the Gun Digest Store. Get it now!
