A few more things we saw/did at SHOT show 2013.
For one, it was nice to run into Ted Nugent in one of the hallways.
Got to chat for a moment before he was swamped by autograph seekers. Nuge is, well, the Nuge.
Outspoken and nowhere near politically correct, but he was genuine and nice to everyone.
Also had the chance to sit down with an old friend, Bryce Towsley.
If you’re an NRA member, and you’d better be, you know Bryce’s work. He’s one of the best gun writers in the business, folks. I have enjoyed many a great conversation with Mr. Towsley and look forward to many more.
Check out his website here and see for yourself what Bryce has going on.
There were a ton of great writers working the press room and I for one and looking forward to the stories that will be coming from the show.
One other thing to tease you with.
Mossy Oak released a new pattern for us waterfowl freaks. I used to love the old Shadowgrass pattern, but was also a fan of Duckblind.
Well they went out and combined the two into a really sweet new pattern that looked great on the samples they had around.
Say hello to ShadowGrass Blades.
